Your contribution will be

  • Supporting the strategic development and implementation of FOUR PAWS international campaigns to end the dog and cat meat trade in Southeast Asia working with the Head of Companion Animals International Campaigns
  • Planning and project managing the delivery of the international mobilisation, political and tourism components of the international dog and cat meat trade campaign
  • Conducting lobby, networking and advocacy activities with relevant stakeholders (primarily within the travel industry and embassies) to reach the campaign goals
  • Coordinating the delivery of international public mobilisation campaigns through FOUR PAWS national offices worldwide
  • Working in close cooperation with the International Communications team to ensure that communication/mobilisation strategies are in place to support the campaign’s objectives, including delivery of campaign assets (online and offline)
  • Briefing and working with suppliers, agencies and external consultants to deliver the campaign creative/activities
  • Contributing to the creation of engagement assets, such as blogs, social media posts, websites content, campaign assets, presentations and stakeholder correspondence
  • Supporting the tracking, measurement, evaluation, and reporting on the campaign KPIs and key milestones/activities


Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Minimum education to degree level and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a professional campaigning environment, ideally in animal welfare issues
  • Sound experience in project management and team coordination, ideally in an international organisation
  • Familiarity with applying best practice campaigning and lobbying methods
  • Excellent ability to manage a variety of stakeholder relations worldwide
  • Perfect verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and sometimes work flexible hours with international colleagues
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ values
