Your contribution will be 

  • Identifying animal welfare issues and relevant topics regarding farm animals and their keeping conditions in Austria with a special focus on poultry
  • Conducting actively background research on identified topics
  • Shaping campaign activities, sharing your experience, background information, and any relevant information
  • Supporting the internal and external communication regarding farm animals in Austria
  • Developing and maintaining contacts to agriculture and actively contributing in relevant networks based on FOUR PAWS values, mission, and strategy


Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Practical and sound knowledge on farm animal welfare and of the Austrian farm and livestock sector, especially regarding poultry
  • Degree in livestock sciences, agriculture, veterinary medicine, biology/zoology, human-animal relationship, or any other related fields of study
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
  • Being a communicative, reliable, flexible, and creative team player with an independent working style
  • Willingness to travel as well as drivers licence
