FOUR PAWS is an international animal welfare organisation with Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, and has offices in more than 10 other countries. Founded by Heli Dungler in 1988, the organisation strives for improvements in animal welfare through sustainable campaigns and projects. FOUR PAWS focuses on animals that are directly under human influence, for example stray dogs and stray cats, farm animals, wild animals and companion animals kept in inappropriate housing. FOUR PAWS aims to help animals in need directly and quickly.
We are searching for a positive thinking personality with great affinity to animal welfare as soon as possible:
Personnel officer (m/f)
Fulltime / Hamburg
Being responsible for personnel planning and the analysis of staffing requirements
Creating job profiles, designing and leading the entire applications process
Being responsible for the onboarding process of new colleagues
Supporting with Personnel development and trainings, as well as developing new guidelines
Working closely with the leadership and being an important contact person for every employee
Carrying out administrative and organisational tasks including wage and salary administration, labour contracts and personnel controlling
Conducting any tasks regarding salaries, entrance and exit
University degree in human resources or another qualified education in related fields
Proven work experience as a personnel officer, preferably in an international matrix organisation
Knowledge in labour law, social security legislation and fiscal law
Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and oral)
Social competence combined with a great sense of responsibility
Solution oriented and self-driven, focused and motivated
Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS values and issues
