Tourism Development Team Manager (m/f/d) 

Full-time | 40 hours per week | BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz, Stuer, Germany


FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. The rescue centre for bears is located right in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District in the North of Germany. Your contribution will be

  • Developing and implementing a successful tourism strategy to promote BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz as a tourism destination
  • Creating both visual and written content that is engaging and informative to be posted on all social media channels
  • Planning and scheduling social media posts as well as providing photographs and video content, and editing these prior to posting
  • Developing incentive packages for tour agents that will encourage sales channels to promote the sanctuary as a destination
  • Implementing the organisational signature and on-site brand management
  • Being responsible for partnership cooperation in regional networks
  • Designing and producing marketing materials for all advertising and public communication, including print, digital and video
  • Working closely with national and international colleagues in relevant departments


Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Several years’ experience working in the field of tourism, hospitality, or marketing
  • Relevant educational background in tourism or digital communications or online marketing
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing tourism marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • Experience in animal welfare work and wildlife conservation is an advantage
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
