Your contribution will be

  • Being responsible for Wild Animal research and policy monitoring and drafting associated communications or reports
  • Translating FOUR PAWS’ Organisational Strategies into developing and applying EU lobbying strategies and actions on Wild Animal related matters
  • Being the first contact in the office concerning Wild Animal policy related matters
  • Managing specific Wild Animal related projects
  • Preparing and if requested giving speeches, presentations and communication pieces related to Wild Animal related policies
  • Participating in the routine activities of the Brussels office


Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Proven experience in successfully carrying out lobby campaigns
  • First working experience in the field of EU policies, ideally lobbying on animals, conservation or biodiversity-related issues
  • Experience in working in coalition with different stakeholders at national, EU and international level
  • Very good English skills, other (EU) languages are a plus
  • High social competence in a multicultural environment as well as cross-departmental team spirit and networking skills
  • University degree in political science, law, wildlife science or similar studies
  • Good knowledge of MS Package
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
  • Willingness to travel irregularly to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
