Measures in times of corona

We are well prepared to continue to care for our animals

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have received many questions from our supporters concerning the status of our projects during the global pandemic. And indeed, it is a very busy time also for us. Our mission at FOUR PAWS is to protect animals, and therefore we continue to do everything necessary to fulfil this mission.

Our Sanctuaries have had a continuity plan in effect since the beginning of the pandemic for food, water, and emergency supplies for all our animals ensuring their wellbeing for an extended period of time. Our caretakers and sanctuary staff continue to be prepared for all eventualities and we have made the necessary safety, maintenance, and nutritional provisions for all animals.

All our animal welfare projects and programmes are ongoing and will continue as per usual, always following the measures established by the governments of each country. Our highest priority is the well-being of our animals and we have adapted preventive measures to keep the projects running.

Despite the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, we were able to successfully rescue animals in need over the course of 2020 and we are planning more rescues in 2021. Due to the ever changing rules and regulations, as well as travel bans in many countries, rescues may have to be put on hold until further notice, but our teams are continuously monitoring the situation and ready to jump into action as soon as travel bans are lifted.

We want to assure you that FOUR PAWS is fully committed to the wellbeing of our animals, our team, our partners and collaborators and we will continue to adopt the necessary measures to continue our work and the protection and care of animals in need.

We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and we would like to thank you for your care for animals in need around the world and your ongoing support, especially in these challenging times.
