Your contribution will be
- Leading a team of experts, specialists, and coordinators for animal welfare issues
- Monitoring external trends, campaigns and developments in the animal welfare landscape to ensure FP projects and campaigns remain up to date,
- Anticipating impacts, identifying opportunities and informing strategic decision making
- Representing FOUR PAWS Germany externally, with focus on the area of responsibility
- Ensuring team effectiveness across various animal welfare projects and campaigns
- Training colleagues on how to contribute their substantive and strategic input to newly developed campaigns and projects
- Coordinating and overseeing the achievement of relevant strategic actions
- Collaboration with international colleagues from the campaign and strategy teams
Your profile ideally illustrates
- Relevant professional experience, in developing and managing of campaigns on NGO programs, in collaboration with cross organizational, international teams
- Experience with involvement in social movements and independent organisations of campaigns
- Strategic sensitivity in implementing effective campaigns
- Leadership experience
- Joy of in-depth topic research and familiarity with various analytical methods and strategy development
- Being a persuasive communicator with a great understanding of and sensitivity for different stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally when required
- High social competence in a multicultural environment as well as cross-departmental team spirit and networking skills
- Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
