Gardener (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be  

• Ongoing maintenance of green areas using work equipment carefully and in accordance with technical guidelines
• Garden maintenance, including grass cutting, watering, and upkeep of the garden areas at BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina, as well as the parking area
• Regular inspection and maintenance of visitor pathways, including emptying waste bins once per week using a tractor
• Cleaning and maintenance of drainage and sewage pipes when necessary to ensure the efficient flow of wastewater
• Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance work, including working with wood materials and other alternative materials and tools
• Identifying and eliminating potential safety hazards to prevent injuries to employees or visitors in both outdoor and indoor areas
• Compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors
• Physical ability to handle a full work shift and perform outdoor activities during the summer season, as well as during interventions in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, etc. 
• Adherence to the organisation’s safety regulations and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment whenever required
• Monitoring and managing the inventory of equipment and work tools that are regularly used, including checking their condition and arranging repairs when necessary

Your profile ideally illustrates 

• Previous experience working as a Gardener or relevant corporate sector experience  
• Relevant qualification or proven work experience 
• English skills is a plus 
• Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS' vision and mission
