Project Manager (m/f/d)

Full-time | 40 hours per week | Hamburg, Germany

Your contribution will be

  • Planning and coordinating project and campaign activities using established templates, ensuring timelines and deliverables are clearly defined
  • Monitoring time and budget on projects and coordinating resource needs within approved limits
  • Delivering projects end-to-end, applying frameworks and standards for executing projects and adjusting when needed
  • Identifying risks and issues along the project journey and taking the necessary steps to shape well-rounded solutions
  • Coordinating core teams, encouraging collaboration, and building accountability within clearly structured roles

Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Relevant professional experience in the field of project management, ideally in an NGO environment
  • Strong understanding of how political campaigns create impact, from agenda-setting and public engagement to mobilisation and advocacy
  • Ability to stay focused and effective in changing circumstances, including political developments, shifting media attention, and evolving priorities
  • Skilled in guiding and motivating teams through uncertainty and complexity, especially in lateral leadership environments
  • Ability to design, standardise, and monitor KPIs to ensure long-term process efficiency and operational excellence
  • Experience in understanding different working environments, operational issues and sensitive or complex queries and their impact
  • Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission
