Your contribution will be

• Supporting the departments in all accounts payable related questions, managing the internal Outlook accounting mailbox
• Verifying, classifying and posting incoming invoices, travel expenses, credit card and other expenses in the electronic workflow
• Processing outgoing payments, ensuring that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Reconciling vendor accounts and accounts payable ledger
• Handling administrative and organisational tasks to ensure a proper physical and electronic filing
• Supporting the further development of digitisation processes and updating internal guidelines

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Successfully completed business administration education (further qualification in financial accounting desirable)
• Professional experience in accounting/accounts payable is desirable
• Knowledge of accounting regulations according to the German HGB as well as German tax law
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems (Dynamics 365 desirable) and MS Office applications
• Very good German and good English skills
• Pleasure in solution-oriented, independent and structured work as well as cooperation in a team
• Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
