Animal Caretaker (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be

• Providing daily care and husbandry for rescued animals
• Monitoring animal health and behaviour and reporting any concerns
• Supporting veterinary treatments and animal transfers
• Delivering species-appropriate enrichment and positive reinforcement training
• Performing daily checks of enclosures, fences, alarms, and technical equipment

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Relevant experience in animal care, husbandry, or a similar role, preferably with wild or exotic animals
• A vocational or higher education qualification in Animal Care, Zoology, Veterinary Nursing, or a related field
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Basic IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate animal records
• A responsible, proactive, and team-oriented attitude with strong observation and communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands and possession of any required permits or certifications
• Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission

• The minimum gross annual salary for this position starts at 19,991 EUR in accordance with our internal compensation scheme
• This is a temporary position running until June 2027
