Animal Welfare Issues Specialist - Animals Abused in Entertainment and Work (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be

• Coordinating and supporting the creation of work strategies, activities and tactics to end the use of wild animals being kept in inappropriate/private keeping and entertainment issues like circuses
• Executing research and analyses to better inform campaign strategies for high impact
• Builds relationships with key external stakeholders and represents the organisation at events and meetings
• Coordinates internal alignment with supporting departments, e.g. Engagement, Lobby and Advocacy
• Creates assets such as reports, presentations, briefings, and stakeholder correspondence
• Evaluating, tracking and reporting on key milestones and activities across all AiE issues
• Any ad hoc activities as requested

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Relevant professional experience in programmes, strategies, campaigns and project management
• Experience working on theories of change and have seen a campaign through from start to finish
• Experience working with supporting departments such as Lobby & Advocacy, Insights, etc.
• Able to autonomously carry out in-depth desk research, audience insights, and commission work to formulate objectives, well-reasoned arguments and messaging to elevate our campaigns
• Fluent (written and oral) in English, with excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal skills and a confident public speaker, able to communicate with stakeholders and media
• An enthusiastic, proactive and approachable team player
• Experience working on animal welfare or social issues is preferable
• Hold a desire to constantly learn and develop their campaigning expertise further
• Able to travel domestically and internationally to provide support or participate in FOUR PAWS activities as required
• Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS' vision and mission

• The yearly gross salary range for this position is 47,000 - 52,000 EUR (full-time base, consisting of 14 payments) according to our internal compensation scheme
