Companion Animals Education Coordinator (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be

  • Developing and implementing FOUR PAWS Responsible Pet Ownership (RPO) Programme focused on raising awareness amongst pet owners and future pet owners on how to take care of their pets
  • Ensuring that the Responsible Pet Ownership Programme is fully integrated into our Community Engagement approach
  • Developing, delivering and promoting FOUR PAWS Pet Protector a series of videos on YouTube on responsible pet ownership
  • Developing and delivering Responsible Pet Ownership Campaigns working with the Companion Animals Campaigns Team
  • Producing content for FOUR PAWS websites, social media channels and key media on our Responsible Pet Ownership Programme
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the Responsible Pet Ownership Programme’s impact
  • Producing and making programme-information accessible for international fundraising and communications
  • Answering enquiries related to the Responsible Pet Ownership Programme both internally and externally
  • Managing and developing one staff member

 

Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Education to degree level with a focus on companion animal welfare
  • Experience in responsible pet ownership education
  • Ability to work as part of an international team and willingness to travel abroad
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral)
  • Strong IT-skills, especially knowledge in using SharePoint and PowerPoint  
  • Ideally experience in working for a non-profit-environment
  • Highly communicative, structured and well organised personality with an intercultural understanding
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS values

  • A gross salary of EUR 40,000 (full-time base, consisting of 14 payments), negotiable depending on higher than required qualifications, skills and professional experience relevant for the position
