Your contribution will be

• Monitoring the company’s financial status, reviewing quarterly and annual budgets and managing accounting transactions
• Ensuring the Company complies with accounting regulations, maximises income and mitigates risks
• Setting and tracking financial KPIs and analysing costs and income for each business initiative
• Reporting on financial status on a regular basic and create ad-hoc reports when needed
• Performing internal audits and will oversee external annual audits. Supporting preparation of 990 with external vendors
• Managing all accounting operations including coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

Your profile ideally illustrates

• High School diploma with relevant work experience or BA with relevant work experience
• Experience working in the non-profit sector, with a thorough understanding of current issues faced by the sector
• Knowledge and understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and management planning
• Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of core financial processes and financial accounts
• Confidence in explaining finances to non-financial professionals
• Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
