Your contribution will be

  • Leading the implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with FOUR PAWS' global priorities
  • Executing strategic development and annual plans, recommending timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals
  • Managing overall operations, overseeing and supporting the development and evaluation of campaigning and lobby initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across fundraising, finance, administration, and communications
  •  Working in close collaboration with the international teams to translate the global priorities to the local context, executing fundraising operations as well as the national communications strategy
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant local regulations and internal policies
  • Overseeing budgeting responsibilities and related financial duties
  • Providing thoughtful and visionary leadership that is inclusive, transparent and empowering

 

Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Several years of leadership experience in an international NGO
  • An understanding of the Dutch non-profit sector
  • Several years of experience in lobbying and advocacy
  • A completed HBO or university-level education, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • Pragmatic mindset with the ability to turn complex challenges into clear, workable solutions
  • Ability to move effortlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring alignment between big-picture goals and day-to-day operations
  • Strong team connector, fostering collaboration and synergy across teams and departments
  • Willingness to travel as well as driving licence
  • Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission
