Your contribution will be:

  • Advising, processing inquiries and reviewing documents in the area of data protection and data protection law on a national and international level
  • Coordinating the data privacy work throughout all FOUR PAWS entities worldwide
  • Advising on the implementation of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR), and maintaining in-house contracts with regard to the transfer of personal data, also in animal welfare related fields
  • Analysing the data flows between FOUR PAWS entities worldwide and implementing processes with regard to requirements of data protection and data privacy
  • Conducting data protection impact assessments where required, and identifying and implementing privacy controls and safeguards to remediate risks in collaboration with the DPO
  • Developing internal data protection and compliance trainings
  • Conducting regular research into topics relevant to data protection and collaborating with all FOUR PAWS’ entities, departments and units on an international and national level


Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Degree in law, business, or economics as well as a qualification in data protection
  • Proficiency in English (level C1-C2) and advanced knowledge of German (level B2-C1)
  • Knowledge of GDPR
  • Experience in European privacy and data protection law is a plus
  • Experience with Office 365/SharePoint and virtual communication tools (e.g. MS Teams)
  • Ability to familiarise with privacy regulatory frameworks in other jurisdictions quickly
  • Strong ability to rethink and rework existing processes
  • Reliable and accurate working style with attention to detail
