Your contribution will be
- Analyses of behavioural and animal health data, in support of identifying areas of animal welfare improvement at FOUR PAWS sanctuaries
- Compiling animal welfare assessment reports based on the evaluation of several welfare indicators
- Supporting caregiving staff in the FOUR PAWS sanctuaries with strategies to address behavioural issues as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Training caregiving staff in behavioural observations and the use of ZooMonitor©
- Behavioural observation of individual animals kept in FOUR PAWS sanctuaries through goal-oriented observation plans
Your profile ideally illustrates
- Background in applied animal behaviour science; experience with managing wildlife under human care and animal welfare assessments is beneficial
- Experience with ZooMonitor© is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of German is of advantage
- MS Office skills
- Strong interest to work with multi-cultural teams
- Willingness to travel as well as driving licence
- Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission
