Your contribution will be

  • Being responsible for full-life cycle management of UK Employees
  • Partnering with international stakeholders across the organisation, fostering collaborative working practices and contributing to a wide reaching global HR team
  • Co-ordinating with Finance and administration colleagues to ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly payroll
  • Managing all employee relations with effective knowledge for best practices on all of UK employment law topics
  • Leading recruitment activities for both UK and International colleagues based locally
  • Supporting global initiatives on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Leading on policy development and implementation of the UK’s staff handbook and associated policies & procedures
  • Maintaining responsibility for the HR system and all associated reporting
  • Supporting managers with all aspects of people management including absence management, performance management, probation reviews and ad-hoc support
  • Leading the UK’s approach to benefit management with the support of a compensation and benefits team
  • Providing explanation of UK employment law principles and HR best practices to our colleagues locally and internationally if necessary


Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Relevant, demonstrable professional experience – CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • IT/technical skills, experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite is essential
  • An empathetic individual, skilled in handling occasional difficult situations tactfully and with confidence
  • Confidence in explaining legal principles to stakeholders unfamiliar with UK employment legislation
  • Experience working with international stakeholders in a large matrixed organisations is beneficial
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission

  • The yearly gross salary range for this position is £49,000-£54,000 (full-time equivalent) according to our internal compensation scheme.
