Your contribution will be

• Designing, conducting, and/or mentoring scientific projects and research (including literature research, data analysis and statistical interpretation )
• Work directly focused on animal welfare science, as well as on understanding  human behaviour and attitudes towards animals
• Supervision of students and interns
• Evaluating trends and developments in relevant Animal Welfare topics with a focus on Wild Animal topics
• Creating, advising on and contributing robustly referenced and data-driven insights (e.g. reports) and advising/conducting science communication
• Consulting and advising on investigations and public opinion polling based on their strategical relevance
• Producing relevant documentation for strategic planning, reporting and evaluation

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Master’s degree or PhD in the following or related disciplines: Wildlife Biology, Animal Welfare Science, Psychology, Sociology
• Experience in wildlife behaviour research
• Understanding of social science approaches
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistics
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
• Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
