Interim Controller (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be 

• Ensuring the consolidation of administrative and financial processes is fully in line with Dutch legislation, CBF standards, and international policies 
• Jointly preparing the audit and annual financial statements together with the external accounting firm 
• Monitoring budgets, identifying variances, and preparing financial analyses and forecasts for the director, the board, and the international organisation 
• Planning and managing cash flow 
• Reviewing payments and overseeing the accounts payable by administration, including coordination with the external accounting firm 
• Performing financial analyses and evaluations to identify and support opportunities for cost and process optimisation 

Your profile ideally illustrates  

• A higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking 
• Several years of demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably with familiarity with RJ 650 for charitable organisations 
• Extensive experience with financial processes 
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and relevant laws and regulations 
• Excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages, verbally and in writing 
• Analytically strong, accurate, trustworthy, and results-oriented 
• Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission
