Maintenance Foreman (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be

  • Being responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and scheduling of daily maintenance work orders and assignments with maintenance personnel
  • Providing guidance and assistance to the maintenance team as needed to perform the assigned work, to monitor progress of completion of work orders and team assignments
  • Ensuring maintenance jobs are completed in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency
  • Being responsible for evaluation of staff performance, compliance to disciplinary codes, compliance with OH&S Regulations and enabling a positive team culture
  • Monitoring inventory and usage of materials and equipment
  • Providing regular reports to your Line Manager on all maintenance areas of sanctuary activities, progress of scope of work, as well as any irregularities
  • Providing technical support as well as regular maintenance and repair of sanctuary vehicles


Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Proven experience as a maintenance foreman or similar role
  • Relevant qualification or proven work experience
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
